PIXURITY

How Pixurity works

Everything happens inside your browser. Your photos never leave your device.

How it works

Four steps, a few seconds

  1. 01

    Drop a photo

Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP from your device.

  2. 02

    See the report

Location, device, date and creator data — explained plainly.

  3. 03

    Remove metadata

Stripped without touching the image, then re-scanned to verify.

  4. 04

    Download

Save the clean copy and share it with confidence.

What Pixurity detects

  • GPS latitude, longitude and altitude, plus city/country fields in XMP and IPTC
  • Camera or phone manufacturer, model, lens and serial numbers
  • Capture, modification and digitization dates and times
  • Author, creator and copyright information
  • Editing software, descriptions, comments and keywords
  • Embedded thumbnails and other EXIF, IPTC and XMP blocks

How removal works

Pixurity rebuilds the file without its metadata blocks while copying the image data unchanged, so quality is preserved. Photos that rely on a rotation flag are re-encoded once at high quality so they stay upright.

Verification

Every cleaned photo is scanned again. Results are labeled "Cleaned & verified", "Cleaned with warnings" (only minor technical data remains) or "Verification failed" — and failed files are never offered as clean.
